USS Santa Fe Receives Battle Efficiency Award

(PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii) – Capt. James Pitts, Commander Submarine Squadron 7 (CSS-7), presents the 2011 CSS-7 Battle Efficiency (Battle “E”) award to Commanding Officer, Cmdr. David Adams, Executive Officer, Lt. Cmdr. Steven Faulk and Chief of the Boat,  Command Master Chief (SS) Ronald Brooks of the Los Angeles-class submarine USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) at the submarine piers on board Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Jan.19. The Battle “E” is an award of merit presented to the most proficient ship in each squadron and recognizes sustained superior technical performance and continual combat readiness throughout the year.
